CEO, Madex
Head of Product at Madex, Azhar Khan is a visionary leader with extensive experience in AI, 3D modeling, and strategic development. As the CEO and co-Founder of PhotoGAUGE AI, he drove innovation in industrial manufacturing through CV+AI technology, enhancing productivity and quality. His prior roles include founding Agnitus, Like.com and Cubus Corporation, all of which achieved successful exits. Azhar's academic background includes a Master's degree from Stanford Business School and a Bachelor's in Materials Science & Engineering from Cornell University. He also advises several tech startups, contributing to their strategic growth and success and which have led to them being acquired by Google, LinkedIn and Unity 3D.
VP of Research
Sameer is a seasoned technical leader currently guiding high-impact AI projects at Madex. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Vision Applications from Engineering Design, IIT Madras. With expertise in Python, MATLAB, and advanced AI tools like LLMs and PyTorch, Sameer excels in driving projects from concept to deployment. He is also a recipient of the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award for his innovative use of AI in detecting milk adulteration, showcasing his commitment to technological excellence and impactful leadership.
VP of Engineering
Zay is a strategist with 25+ years of experience bringing innovative technology products to market. In his roles as CEO, CTO, and consultant, he led key initiatives at Comcast, Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Intel, Freescale, the Department of the Navy, and Accenture. As an entrepreneur, he has co-founded six startups with successful exits via acquisition. Most recently Zay pioneered machine learning projects in his role as VP of R&D at Kabam Games. In his role as VP of Engineering at Madex, Zay is applying leading edge AI to market research. Zay studied Electrical Engineering at Cornell University.
VP of Partnerships & Growth
Zainab is a seasoned strategist with over 15 years of experience in project management, strategic planning, and community development. Currently the VP of Community & Market Intelligence at Madex, she excels in fostering community engagement and building vibrant, inclusive environments. Her extensive background includes leading product insights, advising executive teams on strategic decisions, and advocating for diversity and inclusion. Zainab has successfully managed and ideated numerous luxury events, raising significant funds and ensuring community engagement. She studied law at Golden Gate University and holds a BA from University of Southern California.
